Key facts The HP Pro Shredder 16MC boasts a particularly long operating time of 40 minutes before it requires a cool down period. The generous waste bin for the shredded material has a filling capacity of 30 litres and is easy to remove for emptying. An LED indicates when the waste bin needs to be emptied or the box has not been inserted properly. Of course, the intuitive shredder has anti-paper jam technology that stops the shredding process and feeds the paper back if you attempt to shred more than 16 sheets at a time. In addition to the overheat and overload indicator, the modern shredder scores with an automatic start-stop function that ensures that the device stops as soon as you do not feed any more material. Have you forgotten to switch off your hard-working helper? No problem, because the office shredder automatically switches to sleep mode after 30 minutes and the power consumption drops to less than 0.5 watts.
